Complete The Pattern – New Fringe ARG in the Works?

A few days ago a new viral site for Fringe came online – CompleteThePattern.com. The site is currently just a landing page which redirects visitors to the Warner Bros. shop (by clicking on the DVD image in the bottom left of the screen) to purchase the season 1 Fringe DVD. However the site also promises that there will be a “Phase 2″ starting up on August 7th, giving possibility to a new Fringe viral or alternate reality game. The site offers visitors the chance to sign up for further updates.

I guess it’s a case of ‘watch this space’.

Fringe ARG – Leaf Glyph Activated!

The leaf glyph is now active on the Fringe ARG website.

The second braille brings up the leaf glyph, which you can activate by clicking on it. Doing so brings up a picture and short company profile on William Bell, which you can read below (click to enlarge):

On first look there doesn’t appear to be much going on there – although it’s worth noticing that the word “time” appears to be cut off. Could this tell us something, perhaps?

Walking Liberty Half Dollar Appears In Fringe Finale

As speculated, the Walking Half Liberty Dollar from the Fringe viral site appeared in last night’s season finale of Fringe. It was used to illustrate the personal relevance, to Walter, of there being more than one of everything. Below is a screencap of Walter holding the coin that is similar to the one he remembers:

A glowing orb recently appeared on the official Fox Fringe website, next to the “Bios” section. By moving your mouse of the orb a gateway opens to a new video and website. The video features cut sequences including the scene from the video footage of young Olive and William Bell’s voice-over (“Bad Dreams”):

“Is the incident contained?”

“Yes Dr. Bell”

“How bad is it?”

“Bad”

The video ends on a hand holding a gold coin similar to the one Peter had in “The No Brainer”. By clicking on the orb again a new site opens up – ThereIsMore.

If you participated in the previous Fringe ARG the arrangement should be familiar to you. The new site features eight sections associated with braille numbers – all from the Fibonacci Sequence. Clicking on each of the numbers activates different Fringe glyphs – Apple Embryo, Leaf, Six Fingered-Hand, Phi Frog, Dragonfly-Daisy, Seahorse, Butterfly and Ram’s Horn.

At the time of writing, only one section of the new site appears to be active – the Apple Embryo. Clicking on the area activates a Walking Liberty Half Dollar (reading “Return” in braille). Clicking on the coin produces Nicholas Boone’s quote from “Midnight” – “How far would you go, for someone you love?”.

UPDATE: There also some hidden audio in this one folks. When you click on the second braille a faint voice can be heard reapting something. It’s difficult to make out what the voice says, but it sounds like “Expand Your Consciousness” in reverse. The same audio also featured in the previous Fringe ARG last year.
